Seven farmers and ten entrepreneurs

Dear Reader,

Year-end is the time for endings as well as new beginnings. As 2023 comes to a close, we look back at our work in the year gone by and look forward to improving it in 2024.

In the spirit of celebration, I will keep this newsletter short. Our stories this week are a compilation of some of our most-read pieces throughout the year.

There’s one about seven organic farmers who turned barren land into profitable farms. And there’s a piece on five food entrepreneurs reviving regional cuisines, again very profitably.

The other one is on five environmental entrepreneurs running sustainable businesses based on recycling, waste management, and conservation of natural resources. They are, of course, making good money as well.

Our Sunday feature is on Spiti’s hidden gem – the Lingti Waterfall, which freezes during winter.

Team 30Stades wishes you and your loved ones a very happy 2024! May the New Year bring joy to every heart!

Warmly,

Rashmi
