Five stepwells that supplied water to Delhi for centuries

In the bygone centuries, kings and noblemen constructed stepwells or baolis, which could store water for use throughout the year. Delhi, the capital of successive rulers, once had around 100 baolis built centuries ago. Only a few of them remain today
